  When an ordinary boiler burns natural gas, if the thermal efficiency of the boiler is calculated as 90% based on the low calorific value of the fuel, after adopting the condensing combustion technology of the condensing boiler, the flue gas temperature will drop to 30~50℃, and its thermal efficiency will increase by about 107%. In the case of constant fuel consumption, the lower the return water of the heating system, the more heat can be recovered from the waste heat, and the higher the thermal efficiency of the boiler will be. While being environmentally friendly, it will also be more efficient, energy-saving, and money-saving for users.

  It is worth noting that since the heat taken away by the high-temperature flue gas is not considered when calculating the thermal efficiency of the boiler, and the condensing boiler uses this part of the heat, the thermal efficiency calculation cannot be calculated by the traditional boiler efficiency calculation formula.

  The basic principle of the condensing boiler: Use an efficient condensing waste heat recovery device to absorb the sensible heat in the high-temperature flue gas discharged by the boiler and the latent heat released by the condensation of water vapor to achieve the purpose of improving the thermal efficiency of the boiler.

  The exhaust gas temperature of conventional boilers is generally around 110~200℃, and the water vapor in the flue gas is still in a superheated state, and it is impossible to condense into water and release latent heat of vaporization. If the exhaust gas temperature of the boiler is reduced to a sufficiently low level, the superheated water vapor in the flue gas will condense into water, which releases the latent heat of vaporization, and this part of the heat is still used in the boiler. This is a condensing boiler.

  In layman's terms, the working principle of a condensing boiler is to recover the energy discharged into the hot flue gas after the boiler is burned through a certain device. The recovered flue gas temperature is only about 60℃, so the thermal efficiency is increased by about 10%. Naturally, about 10% of the gas is saved, and at the same time, in the energy recovery process, it can also reduce the emission of harmful gases and reduce the pollution to the environment.

  The combustion of fuel will produce a large amount of CO2, NOX and a small amount of SO2. These substances are discharged into the atmosphere, which will cause the greenhouse effect and acid rain to produce, and have a destructive effect on the environment. The condensing boiler can easily remove these harmful substances in the flue gas while condensing the water vapor in the flue gas. Therefore, the use of the condensing boiler is also of great significance to protecting the environment.

  However, due to the effect of condensation, the exhaust gas temperature is too low. If it is lower than the critical point, condensate will be produced, which will produce acidic emissions and corrode the boiler heat exchanger. Therefore, the exhaust gas temperature must be controlled.

  With the implementation of energy-saving and emission-reduction policies across the country and the increase of national environmental awareness, the use of condensing boilers has become a trend in the heating industry.
